"Good morning!" said Bilbo, and he meant it. the sun was shining, and the grass was very green. But Gandalf looked at him from under long bushy eyebrows that stuck out further than the brim of his shady hat. "What do you mean?" he said. "Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on? "All of them at once," said Bilbo.

Hello and welcome to my bio. My name Is Ezra, and I’m from the amazing state of Oklahoma. I may still be a teenager for now, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t act like the southerner (Okie) that I am. I love spending time outside, roaming around the endless flatness that is Oklahoma, trying to survive the humidity of summer, and the freezing winds of fall and winter. I also love the storms that living here brings. Yes, it’s true that my fellow Okies and I stand outside and watch when big storms come through. Hail, heavy rain, strong winds, and mile long tornadoes? Sounds like a great time to just relax outside. The rule around here is that you don’t get into the storm shelter until the last second. Until then you grab your snacks, drinks, and camera, and you go outside into the thick of it. Spring is definitely the best season. We don't have a lot of what most people would consider as Entertainment, but we have plenty of what WE consider entertainment.

don't believe the lies, there aren't four seasons. here there are 13

1. winter

2. fool's spring

3. second winter

4. spring of deception

5. third winter

6. tornado season (the best one)

7. summer

8. Lord what did we do to deserve to burn!?

9. road construction (year-round dilemma, but worse at this point)

10. false fall

11. more summer

12. 4 days of actual fall - we are here

13. Christmas

whenever I am out there in these bad storms, I don't fear the possibility of getting hurt or possibly even dying because I know that God's hand protects me. I am a Christian, and I believe that Christ died for me and as long as I believe in him I will go to Heaven one day. While I am here though I will live my life for him to the best of my ability. yes, I screw up constantly but I am Human, there's nothing I can do to be good enough for Heaven. That is why accepting Jesus as Lord is so important. one day Jesus will return, and all those who follow him will live a perfect life alongside him for all of eternity. if you ever want to talk about faith, or anything else about Jesus or Christianity then don't hesitate to send me a PM. I am more than happy to talk to you about it.

Like I said before, I am a teenager, 16 to be specific (it's less than a week now, can I just say 17 already?). I love nature of all forms. It could be the fields of the plains, the caverns below, or the forests in the north. I love it all and weather permitting, I will be out there as much as possible. When I’m not outside you can often find me with my nose in a book, or learning more history. I also love, building, and fixing things. I have always been obsessed with Legos, and things like that since I was a little kid. recently I have taken an interest in woodwork. I love building things out of wood and seeing them succeed in what they are intended to do, rather that be holding things, and detail to a room, or both. (what else can I make wood do again?) While not as much of a hobby as building, I do still enjoy working on machinery too. I am the oldest of 4 siblings by far with my sister being 9, and my two brothers being 8 and 7. Being the oldest comes with a lot of responsibility, and good gosh is it a pain in the butt sometimes, but above all else getting to have my siblings is the greatest blessing of my life.

I’m fairly extroverted online, I might give you a whole speech, or I might give you just a few words in a conversation. There isn’t much of an in between with me lol. Sometimes I can get a bit more on the introverted side of things in certain situations online. IRL is a whole different story. Single most Introverted person you will ever meet. If I don’t know you I’m not going to talk to you until you start the conversation, and for a while my sentences will be as short as possible. That combined with the death stare I tend to give people without realizing usually implies that I want you to go away. I have a grand total of 2 good friends IRL, and that is plenty for me. When I’m in a crowd you can usually find me off to the side very carefully observing everything going on around me.

Some of my favorite things to do are chess (obviously), reading, collecting/teaching myself to use swords, building/fixing things, some video games, and plenty of movies/T.V. shows. My personal favorite movies/series are Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit (does that fall under LOTR?), Gettysburg, Gods and Generals, and pretty much any historical war movie you can think of such as We were Soldiers, Hacksaw Ridge, Midway, Saving Private Ryan, and many more that are also incredibly good.

On the topic of history, I have a blog about history here on chess.com. It’s very new, and still quite small at the moment but in time that will change. My blog covers different battles throughout history. If you have any battles you would like to see posted then feel free to PM me with the name of the battle and any information you would like to see in the blog. If you want to check it out you can get to it using this link: https://www.chess.com/blog/battles-throughout-history.

a new Mafia variant that I helped invent alongside my good friends and allies @Emma_Lynnae and @SusieMacd04 is the amazing game of 4 player Mafia. same basic idea as regular Mafia, but 4 players control 5 roles each. rather than village vs Mafia, it is everyone for themselves, and you use all of your available roles to get rid of everyone else. an updated version of this game is being tested right now with a whole group of people having 5 roles each. while obviously not as good as the original creation, 5 role Mafia is proving to be a hilariously entertaining game. thanks to @Johannian07 for running both games, and creating some amazing and hilarious stories.

In my time on chess.com I have found several great clubs that are worth checking out.

The End Times Generation - I honestly can’t say that I've found a better group of people to call my friends. Y’all are so much fun to be around. A solid group of Christians who are good friends to one another, and know every possible way to have a good time is the best thing anyone could ask for. The chaos is a bit much for my brain to process at times, but at other times participating in that chaos is the highlight of my day. All of you will always be considered as friends to me and even if we never meet IRL, we will meet one day in heaven.

Christian Chess Youth Group - you guys were the first club I joined and actually got involved in. From day one you all have been so friendly and welcoming to me and all the other new members who have come since I’ve joined. It feels like just yesterday that my application to the club was first accepted, but now I find myself as one of the admins in the group and I am now helping to welcome in new members the same way I was welcomed in. you guys were the blessing I never knew I needed and for that I am forever grateful.

Star Wars - a good and safe community to just relax and discuss any star wars topic you want, rather it is how evil the sequels are, one of the many T.V. shows star wars has now, or just hang out for awhile, Star Wars is the club to be in. This club is also special to me because it is the first club where I got real experience as a coordinator and an admin for a large and active club. The Super Admins here are great leaders, and the admin staff as a whole is a solid group for leading.

I have made quite a few friends during my time here. To list them all would be quite long, so here’s a few of my closer friends that I like to talk to

@1LordofTheSith1 - they’re my IRL friend. It's a legal requirement that they be put up here.
@alexjohnson77 - Co-owner of Star Wars, and a lot of fun to talk to about a great variety of things. Oh and I’m sorry Alex but Cricket is overrated lol please don’t demote me in Star Wars
@SweetPeaBuddy - owner of CCYG and an all around great person. Very friendly and easy to talk to about pretty much anything.
@Emma_Lynnae - It is never a dull moment when you're around. I don't think there has ever been a moment we're both involved in and I'm not laughing my head off. whenever I want chaos I turn to you to join me in causing it. chaos is a great thing after all. seriously though, you are a great friend to have. 4 player Mafia is the best version of Mafia out there, no one can tell us otherwise. I'm looking forward to the next great idea.
@Maethehuntress - I want to put something nice in for you, I really do...but you make it so difficult. you're evil in Mafia, you insist on opposing me (or maybe just Emma) in most discussions, and you're stinking good at it too which makes it worse. all jokes aside though the direction our discussions tend to go is a direction I enjoy going down. the whole jokingly debating/fighting thing is a lot of fun.
@AlasseEstel - there always seems to be something to talk about with you. Plenty of LOTR, as well as a lot of random topics. Speaking of which, you aren’t the person I expected to take an interest in my weapon collection, just sayin.

@SusieMacd04 - My fellow Star Wars fan and protector! where do I even start? I could probably write half an essay about all the fun things and great ideas you've dragged me into. Emma and I can cause plenty of chaos on our own, but when you get involved it is as close to perfection as humans can get. 4 player Mafia will be a well known and revolutionary idea one day. even when there isn't chaos involved you're still a great person to have around for a conversation about a large variety of subjects. Couple things though, spiders and other bugs do deserve death if they enter my house, and my sleep schedule is perfectly reasonable.
I have many other friends, but to list them all would take up way too much time and space. If you want a place up here then DM me and I’ll put you in somewhere.

The single greatest place on Earth is the High Braes Refuge in Redfield New York. It is a christian retreat center in the middle of a forest. My grandparents run it, and it is so much fun and so peaceful there. I love walking the trails, or helping my Grandpa and Uncle take care of the grounds. Working with them is how I found that I quite enjoy wood chippers and chain saws. There is a beautiful waterfall out there as well that is worth the hike to see. When I’m not outside, the manor house is an equally amazing place to be in. There is history all over that building, and the large rooms make for great places to just sit and talk for awhile, or play with my cousins. Alas, this amazing place is on the other side of the country from where I live and getting to actually be there is a rare thing for me.

it would appear I have run out of things to say. have a blessed day, and if you want someone to talk to about anything than feel free to reach out to me. if it's advice you're after, or if you just need to vent for awhile, I'm good for both.

Luke Combs - ain't no love in Oklahoma from the movie Twisters

“I keep chasing that same old devil
Down the same old dead-end highway
Riding that storm running through my veins
Like a shot down tailspun airplane
Scared of nothing and I'm scared to death
I can't breathe and I catch my breath
But I keep chasing that same old devil
Down the same old dead-end highway

Ain't no love in Oklahoma
Just the whistle of a lone black train
You'll know when it's coming for ya
Riding in on the wind and rain

I got saved in the same Red River
The same Red River tryna drown me
It ain't knocking me down, I'm standing my ground
With the whole world falling all around me
I keep running, but I'm standing still
Pray for peacе, but I need the thrill
So I keep chasing that same old devil
Down thе same old dead-end highway

Ain't no love in Oklahoma
Just the whistle of a lone black train
You'll know when it's coming for ya
Riding in on the wind and rain

Ain't no love in Oklahoma
Just the whistle of a lone black train
You'll know when it's coming for ya
Riding in on the wind and rain
Ain't no love in Oklahoma
Just the whistle of a lone black train
You'll know when it's coming for ya
Riding in on the wind and rain”

Lainey Wilson - Out of Oklahoma from the movie Twisters

"I been dreamin', I been drivin'
Tryin' to stay between the lines of
Who I am and who I used to be
I been livin', I been losin'
Walkin' miles in different shoes
And findin' out I can't run from me

And if I ever get a little too far
I remember where I left my heart

Can't take the home out of Oklahoma
It's where my soul was born to be
No matter where I'm goin'
I'm a wild wind blowin'
Just a-rollin' like a tumbleweed
Can't take the home out of Oklahoma
So you can't take it out of me

The sky is cryin', Mama's callin'
Paint is peelin', grass is tall and
I'm still feelin' like I don't belong
Water tower, graffiti faded
Am I older, or just jaded?
Everythin' and nothin' changed at all

Can't take the home out of Oklahoma
It's where my soul was born to be
No matter where I'm goin'
I'm a wild wind blowin'
Just a-rollin' like a tumbleweed
Can't take the home out of Oklahoma
So you can't take it out of me

And if I ever get a little too far
I remember where I left my heart

Can't take the home out of Oklahoma
It's where my soul was born to be
No matter where I'm goin'
I'm a wild wind blowin'
Just a-rollin' like a tumbleweed
Can't take the home out of Oklahoma
So you can't take it out of me
Can't take it out of me"
