The 2016 democratic presidential primaries in the US are still pretty much dominated by Hillary Clinton, but they are interesting because Sanders is by far the most compelling candidate ever to run for the office in my lifetime.

He's polling at a very distant second right now, and it is unlikely he will be able to win against the corporate-backed party-favorite Clinton. But, it's worth trying. Once the rest of the left wing of the party come to grips with Warren and Biden not entering, they should consolidate behind Sanders and that could make a fight of it.

I'm most interested in seeing the debates this results in. Usually the token left wing candidate in the democratic primaries is a walking strawman of some kind. This guy is sharp as a tack at debating... and Hillary is quite weak actually. When people see one candidate give ernest answers and another dodge every question, that could be huge.
