Anything to get away from politics. First time flying into Chicago today, from the looks of it, houses and apartments are less than six feet away from each other. The horror.

I know they can make wide planes, so why are domestic flights in these narrow tin tubes with a tiny aisle to walk down? I saw several overweight people board and have no idea how they fit into the seats! Saw five dogs board the flight too. People sure like to carry as much on the plane as they can, which is inconsiderate to others, in my opinion. Flying has been around for some time, but it still wows me how planes work, and being above the fluffy clouds was still a sight to behold and reminder of what an amazing planet we live on. Why it takes them half an hour to go from 30,000 feet to landing, I don't get either, it's as if they slow down when they don't have to.
