First, how do you reply to d4? That's easy, just e6.

If they try some weird stuff you need to hit them with c5 now. Weird stuff, I'm talking like, Nd2, Bf4,

If they do some weak stuff like 2. c3, or 2. Nc3, 2. g3, you know what? Just d5 right in his face. Or 2. e3 you can just b6. Right in his eye. (I'm undecided on what to do with 3. g3 though--many sides, many sides.)

Otherwise, after that, just Nf6 and maybe Be7. It's probably fine. Sometimes b6 instead of Be7. Just use your judgment. Like if they 3. Bf4, or 3. c3, 3. Nbd2, 3. c4, 3. e3, yeah bro, b6. b6 like nobody is watching. You'll like it, I promise.

What about other openings such as 1. e4 1. c4 1. e3 1. Nf3 1. f4 and so on? e6 is fine with all of these. Okay so now you just need to learn all the theory for these lines above plus also the nimzo and french, and you're pretty solid bro. null
