This is an online club for chess.com players in the Hampton Roads, Virginia metro area. Our purpose is to develop a network of local area players who enjoy competitive play and would be interested in gathering not only for online events, but for over-the-board (OTB) events in the Hampton Roads area. Membership is not restricted by rating or geographical location, but we do intend to extend our online play to OTB challenges at local area meeting places. If we achieve adequate organization and participation, we will explore League play and the possibility of holding a USCF-sanctioned OTB Tournament.
